An award winning financial media company, seeks a Retention Marketing Manager to develop and manage marketing and engagement programs, increase renewal rates, and reduce subscriber churn. Ideal candidate is a creative marketer with a proven track-record for generating revenue, decreasing churn, and improving customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, plan, and execute subscription retention programs and channel marketing plans for the firms premium subscription products
• Utilize CRM, CDP, ESP, and other various marketing tools to create personalized engagement marketing campaigns for digital subscription products; improve ROI and LTV
• Work with creative team to develop dynamic marketing campaigns designed to improve subscriber engagement and awareness
• Analyze and report on subscriber conversion, renewal, and engagement KPIs
• Lead market research projects on customer behavior, competitive analysis and industry trends to develop strategic and tactical plans to meet marketing objectives
• Work with Executive Director and consumer marketing team to develop cross-sell, upsell, and gift strategies across multiple platforms
• Improve transactional messaging and push notification strategy across all paid products
• Develop, manage, and achieve program budgets/forecasts
• Work with BI, IT, Creative, Product and other internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
• Marketing and Sales degree
• 5 to 10 years retention/customer management and digital marketing experience
• Strong knowledge of direct marketing principles and practices a must
• Membership/subscription or other continuity marketing experience a must
• Strong analytical capability
• Excellent project management skills with ability to multi-task and work well within a fast paced, tight deadline environment
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills including excellent business writing and presentation skills
