Vacancy: Production Manager (Glass & Aluminium)

The Production Manager will be responsible for providing overall leadership, problem solving and strategic direction to plant operations including: production, quality, maintenance etc. 

• The manager is responsible for the general oversight of all technical and non-technical aspects of running the factory



• Responsible for recruiting and training qualified skilled technicians, machine operators, installers, sales staff, drivers and casual laborers



• Responsible for developing standard operating procedures and ensuring all internal processes and procedures are adhered to by staff. He is to work diligently to create a culture of health and safety



• He must safeguard all assets of the factory and submit monthly production reports to senior management



• The manager must have inventory oversight and will be tasked with preventing shrinkage



• Has the secondary responsibility to grow sales and increase local market share
