Vacancy: Production Operator (one Year Contract)

To perform all duties associated with the daily operation of production ensuring that optimum performance is achieved while all safety and environmental standards are met.

PRACTICAL/TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES :

• Operates equipment to achieve optimal performance



• Adjusts equipment settings to ensure the product produced meets quality and quantity
  
   expectations



• Inspects and maintains the production equipment



• Inspects the quality of the product and documents the result at certain intervals



• Complete daily shift production logs



• Coordinates scheduled data collection/testing with lab technicians



• Investigates and reports deviations from production standards



• Makes safe and conscious use of instruments, chemicals and other resources provided



• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

ADMINISTRATIVE/PLANNING ACTVITIES :

• Keep a record of all processing steps performed



• Report writing of all production activities and tonnages achieved during your shift

SUPERVISORY/INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES :

• Active participation in the Process Safety Management Team



• Active participation in all food safety – HACCP, hygiene and GMP practices
