            JOB PURPOSE                                :  



The Head, Sales and Business Development is responsible for managing the quality liability Pool Lead in supervising business unit activities – product develop, sales branding and coverage which result in profitable contribution Connect Capital.



    Major task include the following;





  • Developing and implementing sales/marketing and investment policies, programmes and systems to support the growth of acquiring a fair market share.


  • Determine and execute appropriate sales strategies for the Bank in accordance with the Bank’s consolidated strategy and operational targets.


  • Ensuring the department strategic plans is in conformity with the organizational objectives.


  • Developing and marketing products and service lines by giving leadership direction to the marketing and business development unit.  


  • Taking ownership for entire sales lifecycle – from Leads to Closure of businesses


  • Responsible in supervising the marketing and business development unit in achieving the institution’s deposit targets.


  • Develop and maintain appropriate penetration strategy for business generation across the operational zones.


  • Determine critical success factors for new client acquisition, negotiate and close business to ensure that Branch Sales targets are achieved


  • Preparation of yearly budget for the investment and marketing department







  • Drive CONNECT CAPITALS deposits financial Services Culture and Core Values in the Customer.


  • Assist and recommend credible institution for funds placement.


  • Sets pricing for fixed deposits and other liabilities.


  • Develop and maintain a network to enhance the visibility of the bank and to build a strong referral source for new potential businesses.


  • Ensure bank operational integrity: communication and compliance in all bank policies and procedures.


  • Adhere to reporting TAT deadlines/formats.


  • Drive customer service through coaching, mentoring and training.


  • Provide feedback to through reporting on infrastructure/product/process change required


  • Provide consistent quality customer service to both internal and external customers that meets or exceeds established standards.


  • Periodically build review and feedback process to identify training requirement (soft skills/functional) and enable the same.


  • Custodian of the CONNECT Brand in the industry.


  • Build bench strength for the Pool Lead, BM, and Territory Head,


  • Performs other duties as assigned

  1. Educational Qualification, Experience and Skills:







  • A minimum First Degree in Marketing, Banking and Finance or in a related field from a recognised institution.


  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of working experience in Banking with a minimum Three (3) years’ experience as Sales Manager in financial services.

Remuneration:



Actractive Package: Basic Salary of GH¢3,000+ with other incentives and yearly bonuses.
