Vacancy: Sales Receivable Accountant

Job purpose

The Sales Receivable Accountant will use the Company’s online cloud-based software to perform daily billing activities. The Sales Receivable Accountant is responsible for ensuring all payments are received and all invoices processed and sent over to the Accounts Department by the close of each month.

Specific responsibilities/duties include:

• Meet, receive and process all contract and credit clients’ payment (cash, credit cards, cheques, wire transfers and vouchers) as and when the transactions occur.



• Prepare and hand over daily payments to management.



• Prepare and send invoices to credit clients 12 hours after the business with the client.



• Prepare and send invoices to contract clients by the 3rd day of each month. All invoices must be signed off by the Finance Manager and the Managing Director.



• Process all refunds to clients after management’s approval.



• Ensure credit and contract clients are billed accurately as per the contract signed with clients.



• Ensure the daily application of all receivables in the SAGE Accounting software.
