Description


A reputable company is looking for a Finance and Administrative Officer to manage a consultancy firm that will work closely with the Company's Corporate Management and its’ Accountants in the country.



 



Duties and responsibilities





  • Establish and maintain a chart of accounts to facilitate accurate and useful financials. Define bookkeeping policies and procedures for clients.


  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other relevant accounts.


  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.


  • Prepare and issue client invoices, review accounts receivable to identify collection issues.


  • Make necessary month end closing entries.


  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and other schedules as requested by clients.


  • Maintain annual budget, calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to client.


  • Process client payroll and ensure proper entry in general ledger.


  • Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by clients or other team members.


  • Proactively communicate with client and controller on monthly progress and any open issues





 



Qualifications





  • A member of ICA, and / or CICTA and / or ACCA bodies
