Vacancy: Accounts Officer

Job Functions:

• Responsible for the day to day management of the finances for a diverse portfolio of clients including functions such as financial and capital accounting, income, credit control, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other financial controls. statutory accounts and audit. 

• Ensuring all financial statements are accurate, complete and in accordance with IFRS. 

• Manage monthly, quarter and year-end financial and tax processes and preparation of tax reports. 

• Responsible for payroll preparation and management of payroll taxes and related statutory payments

• Monthly reconciliation of income statement and balance sheet accounts and month end analytical review on margin and variance analysis. Preparation and posting of month end journals, including prepayments and accruals, provisions and other relevant month end journals.

• Provides tax advisory services to multinational and indigenous companies on corporate, payroll, other domestic and import taxes.
