Description


As a Junior Engineer, you will work as a team with other technical Officers to carry out responsibilities listed below but not limited to the list. You will work under the leadership of Projects to:   







  • Work by the values of ITRUS








  • Innovate and solve technical problems for Clients with team mates








  • Define project/task duration, required resources, deliverables and ensuring project/tasks are delivered within indicated time frame.








  • Be ready and informed about assignments before Week Plan Meetings








  • Keep Communication alive within team about Client issues, tasks, happenings








  • Receive Client calls and working with team for resolution








  • Plan for tasks weekly and projects








  • Work by Schedules designed for Back-up Clients, ESET & Kaspersky support Clients








  • Be Custodian of tools and resources allocated to technical department for work








  • Efficiently manage work, resolution and response times.








  • Identifying opportunities to Cross-sell company services and solutions to Clients who do not use our full range of service and offerings








  • Take all required product certifications as expected per company goals








  • Ensuring documentation of tasks on OS Tickets Portal and developing reports for projects carried out








  • Analyzing OS Tickets monthly under the leadership of Projects to form a knowledge base like recurring issues, frequent Client caller, uncompleted tasks, unrecorded tasks, discovered working solutions for pertinent problems.








  • Foster team spirit and purpose within your team.








  • Attending training/info sessions/webinars organized by product partners, suppliers and distributors on behalf of the company.








  • Engage Clients, measure satisfaction and forward concerns at Week Planning Meetings for more meaningful discussion.



     









Qualifications and Education Requirements







  • Comptia A+ and Network+








  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) & Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)








  • A good working knowledge of computer systems and Router Configuration








  • Cable and Wireless network installation








  • Windows server administration








  • Knowledge of VPNs and PBX systems








  • PC troubleshooting and repair








  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems & Linux distros








  • A university degree will be an added advantage
