Job specific tasks:
- Ensure that all accounts in the recovery bucket are worked on within 3 days after entering into the bucket.
- Ensure that the account above 180 days’ late data base is updated on daily basis with payment made into the Bad and Doubtful Recovery account.
- Contact account above 180 days’ late customers to arrange settlement plans that are acceptable to the organization and customer
- Enforce agreed actions/ settlement plans to ensure better performance in the Recovery unit.
- Ensures that remedial action is taken when required to keep performance in line with business objectives.
- Respond to customer’s queries by carrying out necessary investigations to resolve them within 24 hours and escalating complicated issues only.
- Assist the Manager to identify control weaknesses and recommend remedial action as best practice as appropriate.
Educational Background
Minimum BS/BA degree in Administration, or a closely related field
Related Work Experience
- Strong professional background with no less than 4 years of experience in Banking and/or Credit Risk environment
- Demonstrated ability to show results
- Proven administrative, leadership and management ability in a leadership role
Skills and Competencies
- In depth knowledge in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be adept in the use of Internet and E-mail
