JOB TITLE                 :   RISK AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Reports To                     :  Risk and Compliance Manager

JOB PURPOSE

Assist the R&C Manager in the  Management  strategic plan to continuosly ensure that  proper investigation of compliance issues  on internal reviews or audits are conducted  and compliance procedures  strictly adhered to.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed by all branches.



• Conduct internal investigation of compliance issues.



• Assist in the assessment of product, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies for all branches.



• Report violations of compliance or regulatory standards to the Risk and compliance manager for appropriate action.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor University Degree preferably in Finance  with emphasis in Accounting and Risk knowledge of specialized principles or techniques equivalent to those that would normally be obtained through a college/university academic program or in-depth specialized training program directly related to the work to be performed.

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years’ experience in a Risk or audit  position



• Demonstrated ability to assess, analyse and diagnose organizational realities and to use appropriate Accounting tools to ensure an effective and efficient delivery.



• Demonstrated integrity and eye for detail with  accurate output

• Must be willing and able to work effectively under pressure and be goal oriented

• Must have strong organisational abilities
