A reputable Life Insurance Company is offering an opportunity to a dynamic, self-motivated and results-oriented individual to fill the position of CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER.



Job Title: Chief Financial Officer



Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra Region



The successful candidate shall be responsible for directing and overseeing all financial and fiscal management aspects of the Company's operations.



Responsibilities



 







  • To ensure that all records are kept and maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards in Ghana.








  • To ensure compliance with tax and other laws and regulations of Ghana.








  • To ensure compliance with Ghana Insurance Commission.








  • To develop and implement finance, accounting and auditing procedures.








  • To establish and maintain appropriate internal control procedures.








  • To oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, imports, budgets, salary processing, accounts maintenance and data entry.








  • To analyze cash flow, expenses and financial statements.








  • To create, coordinate and evaluate financial programs and support information systems of the Company.








  • To approve and coordinate changes and improvements in the Company.








  • To coordinate the preparation of financial statements, MIS and other reports.









Qualification and Requirements



 







  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from a reputable university.








  • Member of the Association of Chartered Certified








  • Accountants or Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana.








  • Minimum of 10-15 years' post-qualification work experience in a senior role including a minimum of 5 years overseas experience.








  • An insurance with an Insurance Company will be a PLUS








  • Up-to-date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications.








  • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills.
