A tertiary qualification in law, economics, communications, political science, international affairs or equivalent; Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal and writing skills; Must be able to respond well under pressure; Should have good organizational, analytical and leadership skills. |
Description |
- Developing, and implementing in partnership with key stakeholders in the Group, outreach strategies and campaigns to positively shape the debate and policy outcomes on issues related to the plastics and packaging industry;
- Working in partnership with the various companies within the Group to develop effective internal and external communication strategies;
- Representing the Group in various fora to promote the Group’s position on important public policy issues;
- Be a leading voice for the Group in building and strengthening our relationship with industry partners, trade associations, advocacy organizations, and industry coalitions to more effectively shape and advance the industry’s position on important public policy issues;
- Identifying new and emerging legal and regulatory issues that may affect the Group’s businesses in the country and engagement with government officials;
- Responsibility for all internal and external communications e.g. press releases, employee newsletters etc.;
