Sekaf Ghana Limited is an indigenous Ghanaian company involved the production and marketing Tama Beauty products. The natural and organic cosmetic market in Ghana is both developing and fragmented with potential widespread change taking place in the structure of the retail across channels and segments.
To lead, motivate & develop a team of sales merchandisers in order to deliver stretch brand & portfolio targets & build profitable sales
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
o Graduate – HND/Degree caliber with at least 3 years’ experience of marketing / commercial / Sales environments
o A proven track record in marketing / commercial / sales functions
o At least 2 years within a retail / FMCG business.
o Strong People management experience
o Computer literate (Microsoft office)
o Able to identify and articulate customer/market/ competitor information to report on & input to future Trade Strategy.
o Is able to handle tough situations through advanced negotiation skills and effective, collaborative cross- functional team working.
Manage and develop the Business Units to maximize profit
o Ensure excellent execution of all sales and marketing initiatives
o Execute Trading Terms & compliance with business unit
o Identify opportunities for growth & executing with scale & pace
o Grow core brand volumes at agreed targets
Achieve targets for all customer & consumer drivers
o Manage outlet typing & execute coverage strategy
o Ensure team works to the Tama Strategy & execute journey planning
o Set & monitor sales driver & activity targets against agreed initiatives
o Ensures that the market has a defined contact and coverage strategy as well as account classification (outlets are graded A,B,C,D,E and each grade of outlet has a frequency)
o Execute business strategy that establishes guidelines for a ceiling on the percentage of call time spent collecting data which drives focus on key priorities, especially customer facing time
o Embeds relevant KPIs within Sales Incentives to drive great performance
o Execute JP and deliver individual targets in JP per call.
o Execute activities per called out mechanic and ensure the success of activity in territory
o Agrees and cascades a specified limit on the amount of competitive data and product range collected during each planning cycle to drive focus against Tama priority brands and packs
o Support the definition and updating of sales force standards and expectations and ensure these are delivered by the sales teams
