Description | The Regional Program Director (RPD) will provide leadership for FHI 360’s work to support the Fleming Fund regional grant in West Africa. S/he will oversee all aspects of the work in the region and ensure alignment of activities with project objectives. The Fleming Fund project will identify and collate complex and unique data sets on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and antimicrobial use (AMU) in countries in West Africa. The RPD will help to identify relevant sources of data, negotiate for their sharing, oversee data collection and processing, ensure that data privacy and ownership requirements procedures are followed, and assist with data quality grading and analysis. The RPD communicates with all Country Data Managers (CDMs) in his/her region, and manages relationships with in-country health authorities. The RPD will also ensure that all required approvals and agreements are obtained (either personally or by supervision of the CDMs) before data are shared with FHI 360 and/or project partners. The RPD interacts collaboratively with senior data staff at FHI 360 headquarters and in the region, and compiles regular regional progress reports for the project. The RPD supervises and advises the CDMs in his/her region. The RPD ensures quality and timeliness of deliverables for the region. The RPD collaborates with other regional directors and central data staff to share lessons learned in the collation of project data. |
